Hello and welcome!
I’m Alexa, and I am honored to be a part of your mental health journey. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of the courage it takes to seek help. I am committed to providing you with unwavering support as we navigate the challenges of healing and growth together.
I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and adults, particularly those who have experienced abuse and sexual assault. I understand how deeply trauma can impact a person’s sense of self, relationships, and overall well-being. That’s why I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space that is safe, empowering, and sensitive to the unique needs of each individual.
A significant part of my professional mission is to expand access to mental health resources for survivors of trauma. I have worked with children aged 4 to 11, providing not only academic and social skills development but also addressing the emotional and psychological impacts that often accompany early trauma. Through age-appropriate therapeutic interventions, I help young clients process their feelings, build resilience, and foster a sense of safety and self-worth.
For individuals impacted by abuse, including sexual abuse, I use a trauma-informed approach to therapy. This means that every step of the healing process takes into account the long-term effects of trauma and prioritizes creating a safe environment where you can heal at your own pace. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. My approach is rooted in collaboration and trust, ensuring that we move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we will work toward building resilience, healing, and empowerment, helping you regain a sense of control and peace in your life.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I am here to support you. Reach out today, and let’s work together to create a path forward.
