Meet Madeline
Madeline Almonte, MSEd., MHC-LP
Bilingual Therapist - ( Spanish and English)
OFFICE LOCATION : NEW YORK
My name is Madeline Almonte. I am Bilingual (Spanish/English). I have a range of experience working with individuals of different backgrounds and ages. In addition to being a Mental Health Counselor, I am a certified Early Childhood Education Teacher and School Counselor. I have over 7 years working with families and children with developmental delays, autism, emotional disturbed and other disabilities. I enjoy supporting families in living a balanced life as they develop coping skills and strategies to self-care as they meet their child's individual needs.
Additionally, I have over 5 years experience working with Middle school students. My experience includes working with individuals to provide them with the tools necessary to succeed and cope with all the life changes and challenges. I am passionate about supporting adolescents and adults in improving their life.
My counseling style is supportive, compassionate and solution-focused. I support clients in setting realistic goals, exploring, and working toward solutions when they feel hopeless and unmotivated. I help clients develop and utilize practical coping skills to deal with unexpected changes and challenges. If you are ready, I am here to support and empower you.
I received my graduate degree - Master of Science in Education in School Counseling (MSEd.) and Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University.
I look forward to supporting you on your mental health journey.
